I have just purchased my first Omega  ;D, It has its probs but I was so taken with its styling  :) and the bodywork was mint too, which is a bonus.
Downfall is I might have head gasket trouble.
The emissions light is on.
The running is missing a little, its enough to pass though to your seat when idling.
Im loosing water from the system and slight vapours from the exhaust. I cant see any signs of oil in the header tank and there is only a very slight milking inside the oil filler.
I have taken the car for dianostics, which was a keyfob tester and came up with various unidentified codes, and one that said there is trouble with number 4 cylinder.
I am still doing more investigation and I have it booked in again next week, I'll push them in the direction of pressure testing.
Are omega's prone to gasket trouble and if so is there a hot spot were they usally go.
Hope to get this sorted as soon as possible so I can go for a real cruise.

Theres a great bunch of guys and galls on here that know what there talking about, so its well worth Having a nose around and read all the threds you can mate lot of good info.

We all had to start some where matey.

This is the place to be for Omega help for definate.  As for the use of the forum that will come with experiance.  The best help I could suggest there is to read the stickies at the top of each section and if then you still have any problems then just ask.  General chat we talk about allmost anything.
