Purchased my 2001 Omega 2.5 v6 CD a couple of weeks ago. Today I changed the HBV after finding a leak. Did not have a clue where it was coming from, until I stumbled across this site and done a bit of searching through past topics. Took a look and sure enough found the HBV leaking. Replaced following the guide on this website. Took a couple of hours to replace. If it goes again though, it can go to a garage to be fixed. My fingers are now killing me :'(.
Nice car though. My Dad has the 2.2 CD, and absolutely loves it. I've been looking for a nice exec car since I left my last job and had to give the company car back 8-).
It's done 91000 with full service history and also only ever having one owner. One thing I am surprised about is the fuel consumption. Not getting anywhere near what other people are posting on here. Car is currently doing 16mpg (combined). :'(

Welcome. 16 is low unless you do short journeys around town. :-*
I did 300 miles in a day last week driving in an "enjoyable" way and got over 29.
