Title: Another Newbie to the slaughter!!

Hi one and all,

just got myself a new car.....2000 X reg 2.5 Elite!

Had it a couple of days now and just spent the last 3hours shampooing the seats and carpets. Dirty weren't the word. Oh well, done now.
I've been looking round the site and can't believe the amount of info that is available..thats such a relief if I get stuck!
I read that if I need a part to come through here and ask the "Gods" to post it in the correct forum, is that still the case?

Yes, if you post in the test area and ask nicely then I'm sure a mod will move you to the parts section. Just out of curiousity what is it you're after?

Hi, I'm after the centre console in silver, I think it was fitted in the MV6 models.
Looks sweet compared to my walnut effect!
