Title: Help ! I'm New

Hey, just bought a Omega 2.0. Its my first one and I've got problems !!

The CD player won't turn on and will only accept and eject CD's.
Also there is a funny looking hole in the glovebox.... It has a Ice looking symbol next to it.

Apart from this, I love the car.

"Hello" and Welcome :)

For help on the CD problem go to the ICE (in Car Entertainment) section ... DaveDND knows more about this than anyone else ... to help him out give him the model no of the head unit and CD unit ..

The hole in the glove box with the ice symbol means you have a "cooled" glove box ... stick the aircon on cold and leave it 1/2 an hour then feel in the glove box .. should be nice and cold .... (quite why they did it i don't know .. but they did .. :)  )

This is the first Omega i've ever been in. It'd be nice to see a bunch together with different options and specs.

Glove box is so small you woudn't get a can of beer in there !!!   I suppose it might just keep a sandwich fresh .... :(

BTW the aircon in the glovebox is great for stopping your twix going soft in the summer ;)
