Title: Greetings from possible omega owner!

Hello everyone. Have been seriously considering omega ownership for a while now and am about to take the plunge. I just need an answer to one question to set my mind at rest. This question has probably been asked many many times but please indulge me if you will. Here goes. How likely is it that a low mileage (60000) 02 reg 2.2 petrol omega will suffer head gasket failiure? Your answers will help me decide whether to spend my hard earned cash on a car i will look at this weekend.

hi mate and welcome if the omega has been looked after then head gasket should be low risk

As above, as long as car has been looked after, head gasket should present no problems. Pay particular attention to oil and coolant change intervals
