Omega virgin here, literally just bought a 2000 2.2 16v CD auto for a comfy cruise to and from work. I've ben carless for a while, living in york and walking to work and geting train to london at the weekends. But new job in leeds and trains and bus annoying, so I wanted to drive and as the route is fairy congested I figured an auto was the way to go.
It's a 60k miler, clean as a whistle, 2 owners from new, and cost less than 2 months hire of a fiesta lease car :)
Seems to have been very well looked after, and I've read that water pump impeller blades are a problem - is it worth me pro-actively swapping this out and doing belts?
