Hello,

Just found this very useful site and registered. This is my first Omega and am very happy with it. But it does have its problems, but I hope you can help.

I've done what turned out to be 'easier' fixes, ie the heater valve, spark plugs, coil pack, oil and coolant, but am still having issues.

I am having idling/stalling issues, I have a feeling the power steering pump is not working well, as once the car is warmed up it is noisey and seems to strain the engine at full lock. The idle since cleaning the EGR and IAC valves is good, but the car cannot seem to handle the power steering pump once warm.

I've changed the fluid in the top-up tank, but that isn't a complete change, how do you remove all of the fliud? Or would you think, the pump is just worn out?
