Title: Hi to one and all.

Have just purchased my first Mig, a 2002 MV6 with manual gearbox, which was ordered new by a vauxhall manager who had the Elite goodies added (Cruise, colour sat nav, rear blind, Bose etc, I have always wanted one of these lovely cars and now i finally have one, i picked it up last night and haven't stopped smiling, it certainly performs well compared to my 2 litre Veccy.

Anyways have found this site very helpfull in making an informed decision about taking ownership of one of these beasts.
Thanks to one and all and hope i will be able to contribute in the future.

Hi Bob, welcome to OOF. Sounds like a nice car. There is quite a little cluster of OOFers around kent - Medway area in particular. :y
Coincidentally, I moved from Belfast to Gillingham in 1972. Didnt stay long though. ::) ;D

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, i have had a look through various posts and can't seem to find the answer i'm looking for.

I have a 2002 2.6 MV6 can anyone confirm which oil would be best i am assuming it's Vauxhalls own 10W 40, can anyone shed any light on this, i have just purchased the vehicle and know that the previous owner has always used vauxhall parts and fluids all confirmed by findind a bottle of VX Brake fluid and Gearbox fluid in first aid kit cubby hole in boot. any help would be much appreciated. :D
