Hi guys, got pointed here by the member of another forum I use.
I've recently purchased a W plate Omega 2.0 16v manual estate with LPG. I bought the car to use as a new hack/tow car/family car pretty cheap but with some known issues which i'm now trying to sort.
The car was in limp mode when I bought it, I read the codes and it showed up cam sensor and lambda. I have replaced the cam sensor and a split inlet pipe so far and its out of limp mode.
How much effect does the lambda have on mpg? I do quite a few miles for work (mainly A roads) and its struggling to do more than 20mpg at the moment! I've not tried on petrol as I have another issue there, it runs poorly on petrol like its suffering from fuel starvation (fine at light throttle but holds back and splutters at full) but is fine on lpg. I think it may be a blocked filter or pump issue.
Any help and advice appreciated! :y

Welcome.Fuel filter sounds feasible. If it was HT related it would run worse on LPG than it does on petrol.Change the filter and see how it goes. ;)

Cheers for all the welcome messages. Gonna change the fuel filter and lambda sensor today, will start a new thread if I still have problems afterwards
