I am from Norway, where both the cars and parts are expensive. So we try our best to keep these old cars up and running :)
My car is actually a 2.0 auto that i swapped all the V6 parts into from my wrecked 2,5 manual :)
The car has the 4*el. windows, ACC, Xenons and tilt steering wheel. And it's a GL spec, witch is the lowest 98 spec in Norway.
The suspension has also "some" tweaks to it, like: Cobra 40mm lowering springs, Koni Sport shocks, camberkit and the big donut bushings in poly at the rear. New wisbones and all the rubber and bearings up front is also new, so it handles like new, but it is a much firmer ride :y
The 4 wheel alignment, I had to be there and se that it was done right at the first time, and the camber was set to -1,15 in the front, and -1,40 in the back. Handles well, goes straight an no unewen tyre wear :y
'
By the way, my ex drives a 94 2,5TD auto station wagon with MV6 leather interior, and our son, 18 years old, reasently bought a 95 2,5V6 manual CD spec, so I have the work cut out for me in the future ::)
Anyway, this forum have helped me alot, and wil be the future reference when i wonder about something, as here is people who has experiense in diagnostics, and the general knowledge is high, in my oppinion :y
Best regards
Steve
