After a really enjoyable weekend at the Wales/Not Wales meet (and a trip to Wheels in Motion) I finally got home just before midnight last night (Monday). I did not get away from Hemel H until after 1630 then joined the M1 masses. Had a fair splat of stationary traffic around Birmingham (M6 toll was shut northbound) which took a good hour or more to wade through but things cleared thereafter at the north end of the M6. Mainly trunking waggons heading north and quiet roads so made some time up.
Total miles run, home back to home, was 987 but worth it to get the car sorted as well as getting the suspension set up properly. Its a different car altogether. :y
My thanks to all who assisted in resolving my heating problem (TB and M_DTM et al) as well as Taxi Driver for allowing me to hire the north wing of his new tent. Looking forward to the next one but, after adding up the fuel costs, may have to start saving up already. ;D

Enjoyed watching the cambelt change in the flesh.
The Scotish food and drink went down a treat as well :)
Enjoyed meeting up again, and looking forward to the next one

I am partial to a drop of this (http://www.laphroaig.com/) and this (http://www.oldpulteney.com/) and this (http://www.highlandpark.co.uk/splash.asp). All are at the more flavoursome/fuller bodied end of the scale rather than the lighter Highland/Lowland types, but each to their own.
The first listed here was the tall green bottle I had at the weekend.
