Hi All,
Hopefully one of you guys will have the Vauxhall EPC and will be able to help me out here.
I'm about to change the stat on my Meega, a problem i've briefly spoke to Mark about. Thing is he said i will have to remove the bridge pipe to get access to it meaning i'd have to change the o-rings on said pipe.
So off i went to my local dealer, who, basically, didn't know what the part numbers were.
My car is a 2000 facelift but has the 3.0 v6, not the 3.2 It also has aircon, the guy reckoned it would make a difference. My engine number starts 0849----
If possible, can one of you kind chaps please tell me the part numbers for the following...
The thermostat...
The o-rings for the bridge pipe...
Temperature sensor (not the one for the fans in the rad, for the actual temp guage) (This was replaced last service as it was throwing up a fault on tech2)
Any other gaskets/seals i may need in the process.
I'd like to have everything i'll need there before i start, no ugly surprises as it were. ;)
Cheers.

right then, here goes.....
sensor 90541520 (later one)
Stat 90502201 x1
stat to block seal 9128363 x1
stat to pipe seal9129999 x 2
bridge seals 90499400 x 4
can't see anymore seals that would be needed, hope that helps

On the temp sensor - there are two on the coolant bridge - one is for the ECU (measured by Tech 2) the other is for the temp gauge (spade connector) this is not measured by tech 2

So the 90541520 is for the ecu?
Do you have the part number of the other sensor?
I wish my EPC hadn't been used as a frisbee. >:(
-
the one i have quoted you for is the one that is asscioated to the ECU, i think it helps to control the cold running as well, it has a two pin multiplug
the other one has the part number 3439088, has been used by vaux for years in nearly everything that have on the road and is for the guage on the dash

Cheers again.
Is that another drink then?

Been to Vauxhall today to order required seals, with a major problem...
The bridge seals '90499400 x 4' are priced at an astonishing £50 each!! That's £200 for 4 seals?
Surely that's a typo someone has made at Vauxhall, cos i'm thinking 50p each, not 50 quid each.
I assume someone on here has had to buy these before, and would remember if they had to shell out 50 quid each on 'em, is this right?

The coolant bridge (at the rar of the valley bridging the two heads) seals are actualy 12992647 at £1.39 each........and you dont need to remove the bridge to do the stat!
The coolant bridge pipe (from the stat to the rad top hose) seals are 9120007 at 67p each two off required

And i breath a sigh of relief!
Cheers Mark. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

No problem, don't worry about it.
I just freaked a bit at the price.
I'll let you know how i go at Vauxhall with the new part numbers.
Thanks again for your help, it's much appreciated.
