Title: Brakes pulling to left
Post by: PhilCavSRi130 on 13 August 2006, 20:48:21
Now then guys im in need of a little advise on this one!!

When i brake the car pulls to the left and i have to compensate by steering to the right.

Ive changed all steering components as they were little worn. Track ends, idler, centre rod assembly have all been changed. The lower arms and front shockers were all changed last year at MOT.

Also changed all brakes and replaced fluid.

Any ideas?? Im thinking it may be the strut top mounts which are knackered but am open to other suggestions to check.

Cheers.

My estate was doing this....it was due to the wishbone bushes, although not worn, one had been fitted the wrong way round into the wishbone.....so do check the bushes (for damage and orientation!)

if there is no play in any steering or suspension components is is either a duff caliper or the camber is incorrectly set up prob the latter there is a thread on here on 4 wheel geometry
