Title: Running Temp '99  3.0 V6
Post by: Big_Al on 11 September 2006, 22:13:13
Hi Guys, Could anyone  confirm the usual running temp for a '99  3.0 V6.  My Omega is running just below 100 & then creeping just over 100 when sitting in traffic. Am  I worring about nothing or is my baby running a bit hot. A bit of guidance would be greatly appriciated. Thanks from Big Al

sounds a little bit hot, are fans kicking in and is it cooling when they come on, sure they sit about 95 normally....

does sound a little hot, it should run at 95 generally, and nudge 97/98 in town.

How old is your coolant? Is it red or blue? - Also whats your water to anti-freeze mixture like?
