Title: last date of the meega

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me when the last month and year that they stopped producing the beloved omega,

My mate is a taxi driver and needs to know if he can buy one that is under 4yrs old to the month?

4 years old - too the month - well yes you can purchase a september 02 model....

as for last production not sure but certainly into 2003, possibly 2004.....anyone?

Well, last week when I was driving through Shrewsbury I say a Police Omega Estate with a 54 plate, don't know how because I thought they stopped building them in 2003, not unless they where old un-registered stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I have been reliably told that a certain Police Force (no names on here) bought the last 10 3.2 specials off the production line and, at last count, 8 of them are still sitting in mothballs, unregistered, in a storage garage, so entirely possible to see 54 plates or newer....

Mines a 03 plate.....and i know you can get 53 plates......he should be able to get one 3 year old  or there abouts ;)

I have seen '04 & '54 plate megga's, but the 54 plate was a Plod.

I saw on ebay a non plod 05 reg 2.2 cd he said last 1 ever registered was sat in vaux showroom for 2 yrs
