Title: ESP for EPC
Post by: Markjay on 29 September 2006, 23:28:41
As we all know there is a piece of software called Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) that none of us has (obviously) as it is Vx only. However it has been brought to my attention that some people here posses paranormal telepathy powers that allow them to read data from remote computer system. Now please read this list:

For Omega 2.6 Autobox AR25:
Main sump gasket
Small sump gasket
Drain plug washer
Autobox filter

If you have managed to guess what I am about to do, then you are obviously one of these psychics – so could you please get your mind to wonder into the computer of the nearest Vx dealer and fish-out the Part Numbers for these items. Many thanks!

PS – My own paranormal telepathy powers don’t work (http://img154.imageshack.us/img154/2281/image016fk8.gif) (http://imageshack.us)

Mines stopped working too, right after i installed XP x64. It would appear that some of these 'telepathy' programs don't seem to like this 64 Bit OS very much.  ::)

Well if you are considering it as well, you could offer to host the next autobox oil change party on your drive...  ;D

An option is to clean the filter and use Loctite 598 (availabel from Halfrauds) instead of the gaskets.....works very well and is how I did mine!

Sounds good, thanks - as for the filter, I was thinking that if it's not too expensive then I'll just get a new one instead of bothering with clearing the old one - does anyone know how much a new filter is? If it was a tenner or so I’d probably just get a new one.

That's not too bad, it's not something you're going to do annually.  ::)

How much is Loctite 598? I believe the gaskets are only about a tenner.
