I believe the mountings are different (might be wrong, so will stand corrected!), but I guess they could be modified.

I'd also guess you will need a set with side airbags, else that may cause you grief...

That is a fair point.  :(

Side Airbags!! I forgot about them. Better lose the auction then otherwise I will have to put them in my lounge (Top Gear Style)

Mark, didn't you suggest that there was a way around the airbag issue by using a certain value resistor?  ::)

Not sure what your insurers view would be if you had a big bump and suffered injuries which side airbags should have reduced....

If you do win and its light grey leather I could be interested.

Yeah. I don't want to take away my airbags. I see lots of accidents in my line of work and IMO the more airbags the better.

Not entirely convinced you can tell later SRS ECUs that no side bags, so may end up 'fooling' it, which I think could get you in trouble with insurance as it would be obvious...

You're gonna buy a tidy pre-facelift and keep both of 'em.  ;)

Yes, that is a thought BUT I sold my 94 CDX V6 Leather Manual back at the start of the summer so it would be pretty silly to buy another one so soon.

PLAN B!

Don't mess with current car, leave it as it is and look for leather facelift MV6.

4ohm resistor fools the airbag ecu.....

I'm wondering if ecu detects config at start, as nothing obvious to program via Tech2. Maybe if Tech2 notices a change of config, it needs to be confirmed?
