i've just noticed the high number of members and guests online on the 30th june.did anything happen or was it just a good day?

one of NTL/Telewest/Virgin/this weeks name stupid transparent proxies probably went ape, as they frequently do (transparent proxies used as they haven't enough capacity)

Concurrent users online is the important one (the total number is just a measure of how much the server can take)...

still nice to know and the member numbers seem to be increasing steadily.

Yes, and obviously the Admins have further stats, including the web logs, and we are getting steadily busier...
