Title: side repeater lens
Post by: Nickbat on 17 October 2006, 13:48:55
Some scrotum has driven their 4X4 right down the side of my car (you can tell it's a 4X4 by the height of the rubber mark - and I live on a school run road). I have removed some of the scrape using T-cut, but it has gone through the surface in some places.  :'(

The side repeater lens has been smashed, but i can't seen how you get the remains off or fit a new one. Is it an integral part of the plastic waistline strip? The car's a 1995, by the way.

IIRC, its just a case of prying it out with a screwdriver- i changed mine from orange to clear a while back (my cars only mod :( )

Or get a pair of black ones, they blend in nicely with the trim, about £10 on ebay  ;)
