Guys,
Just done paper clip test and got the following codes:
19 - RPM Signal (Crank sensor)
73 - Air Flow Sensor (AFS)
The crank sensor played up a long time ago but I've had no problem with it since (and knew it needed replacing) but my main question is about the Air Flow Sensor; is it housed somewhere in the multi-ram piping thingy and/or is it expensive?
Sorry for the newbie-ish question just can't find my haynes manual at the mo!

MAF often comes up if there are other problems.
Change that cranksensor before it lets you down, and see if that cures the MAF ;)

Yep, exactly as jaime says. :)
73 is one of those strange ones that comes up when the crank sensor plays up.
Believe me, if you have an air flow meter problem it will be very obvious.
The symptoms are engine cutting out with the slightest application of throttle.

Yep, crank sensor........classic false code the MAF when this goes.

Get the feeling it is time to change the crank sensor Louis? ;)
Do it before it decides to die.... on the motorway!

Definately... I think it's a bit over-due! ;)

Yep i agree....dont go changing the MAF sensor for the fun of it......For a 3.0 they're a whopping £253 + vat if you dont have a TC card ....£46+vat for the crank sensor (again if you dont have a TC card) is a better option :y esp if it fixes the MAF sensor fault ;)
