OK, silly question #3
I found out, by accident, that if I lock the doors from the inside, they appear to be deadlocked!
I lent on the lock this morning, down it went click went the doors and I couldn't get the knob up to unlock it - had to use the keyfob :-?
It's an ex-plod car, so it may be meant to be that way - I've noticed the passenger side doesn't lock/unlcok the doors either.
Is it a trip to the dealer to get them to reset the central locking to more normal behaviour?

Passenger door doesn't do c/l.
Not normal behaviour with deadlocks...

If the car had been owned by the Ministry police would that then be a MOD plod mod?

Does it do this constantly or is it intermittent.
Could be that your lock jammed did the other door pins go up as if to say they were unlocked.
Had this a few times with mine maybe similar to what happened with yours.

The other pins stayed down, I'm sure that I've opened it from the inside previously though. I'll have to go and see if it matters key in / out ignition on/off etc.
Maybe it's an Omega quirk. Had enough of those in the alfa ;)

OK tried it at lunch, and the doors can unlock from the inside. Looks like it just gets stuck on occasion, so I'll try and sort that out.
Maybe an excuse to buy new door pins!
Completely unrelated but as I was passing I called into the dealers to see how much to supply and fit a cigarette lighter socket etc - Nothing there currently. Few quid for the parts, 2 hours labour at £80 per hour. I though, you sir, are having a giraffe! Gasp!

I have a spare ciger lighter socket if you need it, easy to fit and just possibly even cheaper than Vauxhall!!!

So long as you don't charge £80 an hour packing fees ;)
