Title: Bl**dy Missfire

Just took my daughter home and upon starting the car, hey presto a missfire has appeared, no warning , no nothing, sodding thing :(

That's a pain, mate.

Plugs, leads, DIS pack? If you've got Bosch plugs, that's where I would look first.

Fed up with the sodding thing, hasn't even lasted a week this time without something else going wrong :'( Think it's time to put the Volvo back on the road :-?

Well check the obvious first (ie plug leads cooked in oil?) but I suspect it will be the DIS pack.

Me too, remember the water staining at Santa Pod?, and the heater pipe from HBV to water bridge was leaking last week and it feels like it's missing on more than one :(

Not good weekend for working on car reckon 60+ winds :( depending on where the depression ends up? Londons on a weather warning :o

Yeah, we'll be fighting for that at this rate!  :D

Timbuk, you don't need us to tell you that it's the DIS after pouring the entire contents of your cooling system on it on the M6. I wonder why the plastic screws are missing from your scuttle?  ;) :)

That would be fun, i actually managed to get mine to Cov, hooked yours up to the back and towed you round To Bo Bo's. One coughing and spluttering Omega towing a dead one. What were you doing this weekend Bo Bo, changing your door!!!!!!!!!!!

I dunno, still don't have my parts.  May be off to hire a car soon.  >:(

What year......and can you see/feel it?

Is it Horizontal or Vertical......can you see the shape of the connector to it, round or square?

Can't do it right this min, no tools, left them at the job i'm on, gonna get them later, can you tell me which is which mark so i can check in a bit?

i have a dis here, not sure what type, and its been sprayed with nice oily water. Came of Proj TB1 which was missing, but replacement didn't cure (fault was combination of leads and shagged knock sensor....

Yours if you need it....
