Title: cruise control - pre facelift
Post by: jonathanh on 29 November 2006, 19:59:48
I understand enabling cruise on the DBW facelift is pretty easy but what about the pre-facelift.  I've got a 2.5 manual so I guess I need

cruise stalk
actuator + mounting brackets
clutch and brake switch (or just clutch?)

Am I correct in guessing that the wiring is in place so it is a case of digging out the connectors from the loom?  Are they easy to find?

Even on the facelift I think the ECU has to be enabled. TB will tell youmore.

Only on the DBW facelift does the ECU need to be enabled - not needed on yours.

2.0/2.5/3.0 and 2.5TD do not need enabling with Tech2. 2.0/2.5/3.0 need actuator with throttle cable, a 4 wire cruise stalk, 4 pin brake switch, and a clutch switch if manual.
