Title: Exhaust Part Numbers??
Post by: JasonH on 01 December 2006, 12:55:15
My centre box has just failed in fairly big style - sounds very throaty.

Trying to get new centre boxes on TC is proving to be a bit of a saga.

It's a 2.5 Estate year 2000.

I have the following part numbers:

LH 90528008
RH 90528010

The Vx dealer says the part numbers have been superseded  as follows

LH 90528008 changed to 9381160
RH 90528010 changed to 9381163

However the new description is 2.6 or 3.2 Estate (only, no mention of 2.5) and one of the parts is not on TC......

Help - what's right?

Contact Trade Club if parts are obselete, or if dealer is proving difficult...

TC is through MIG Web so a bit tenuous.

The dealer was actually very helpful....

TC showing:

2.5/2.6/3.0/3.2 estate RH 93181163 £116.00 £99.00 £72.50
2.5/2.6/3.0/3.2 estate LH 90528008 £116.00 £93.00 £79.73

One of those is a part your dealer says is no longer valid.  With your club TC card, you should have a contact of someone with TC to contact, or someone within the club (MIG) who will do on your behalf...

That's great, thanks.

MIG Web really not very good at supporting TC. This forum is my real home! MIG Web just gives me TC....
