Is there any wat to tell which of the 3 different dis packs I on the car from the engine number or some other number. I cant seem to see it at all when trying to peer down the rear of the engine :(
-
You have to take the scuttle off to see it. The FAQ roughly describes which ones are which, but no way to be sure short of looking.
-
Thanks for the super quick reply :). I will attempt to take the scuttle of then tho I will prolly break something :'(
-
OK OK! I will finish my scuttle guide this afternoon! 8-)
See the test forum for the draft so far.

Well I finally cured my missfire after changing the plugs, rocker cover gasket and leads which cost a small fortune. I then got my mate who is a mechanic to do a homer and fit a second hand DIS pack and finally all is well and firing on all 6 :D
When he handed me the old DIS pack it was no wonder it was misfiring, in fact I am surprised it ran at all lol.
Here's a pic, not sure how to embed the pic tho so heres a link :)
