i have recently bought the chrome rings that go round the dials from Ebay.
Arrived a few days ago, they look the business, they are metal rather than plastic and are good value, however they dont come with fitting instructions and i am wondering about getting them to stick to the clock surround.
Any ideas on what i can use to fit them? I understand that the glass will not remove so they have to go in from behind, this makes them twice as hard to fit, in addition the surround of the clocks is a champferd edge and the bezel rings are a square edge.

Thats not too bad really in terms of price, even better they are metal i would have expected plastic on fleabay!
I'd be very interested to see how they look on a facelift omega dash...

I have had mine for a couple of weeks now, and yes no fitting instrcutions, I would suggest superglue, as that is what I am going to use, just waiting on the alu dials, which will be posted on monday :y

Me too Tunnie - they'd freshen up my cabin and I like the white dials as well.
I've searched German Ebay and none to be had. :(

Putting the car in this week, will get the new dials on and the chrome rings, plus the irmscher steering wheel, and alu trims, will post some pics hopefully by end of the week :y

I'd be wary of using superglue, as it can leave those white marks when it cures ... which won't look good !!

I have looked at the common superglues and they don't seem to glue metal too well.
what I think I am going to need isa black, quick drying 'mastik' or bonding agent, part of the problems is in getting the rings on place, especially the speedo.
it's a shame the glass will not seperat from the surround, it would make life a lot easier
