Welcome to the forum Paul, when was the last time the rad and engine were flushed?

if it reaches close to 100 then its running a tad hot.

Normally V6's both 2.5 & 3.0's should run at 95 at only reach 97 before the fans kick in and bring it down to 95.

As Auto Addict says, when was the rad last flushed? - May have a build up of rubbish in there, also check the coolant level and when it was last changed.

Yeah, as others have said, flush the coolant a couple of times, may help.

A slight left pull does appear to be common, but if severe, or causing tyre wear, get a 'Full Geometry' (not tracking or 4 wheel alignment) done.  We usually recommend http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk and he is a member here as well.
