if you are replacing it then also make sure that you get 4 bolts for the centre boxes to the cats, a few spring clips for the mounts as there will be a few that are corroded or break when you remove them and two clamps rear box to centre box.  The rubber mounts should be o.k. though

The centre box to cat bolts are a real pain to get out.  Some on here have resorted to heating/freezing etc.  I guess I was lucky as I used loads of freeing oil over 2 days with gentle working of the bolts loose.

Also, forgot to say that if you argue a bit you should get 10% off the retail price, TC discount should be more

From memory, Trade Club is around 70% of the price on these items...

If you are tempted to go for pattern parts, be aware it will be much noisier...

Basically pattern parts (non GM) are not made as well, in particular exhausts. geniune Vauxhall exhausts are well made and double walled, if you go to a place like Kwik Fit they will put on a nasty tin crap which will sound awful.

People here have pattern part exhaust fitted on their cars by previous owners, they are noticebly louder than the GM versions. It will sound rougher and noiser....

I fitted a geniune GM zorst to my megga, its super silent now  :)

Yes, the GM ones (although usually made by same manufacturer as pattern ones - eg 2.2 GM ones are made by Bosal, but to a much higher standard than the Bosal you get from Kwik Fit) are much higher quality, hence quieter and better longevity...
