Title: Bloody wax
Post by: V6mac on 09 January 2007, 23:34:40
Just had car back from service and also had it cleaned, they have washed and waxed it.

They have got wax on the windscreen and i have tried and tried to get it off, with no luck yet  :(:question

With all the rain today, it's been a pain !

Have used washing-up liquid and a degreasing agent, any ideas :)

Any spray type special glass cleaner seems to work ...I did mine the other day and used some good old 'Windolene' or however its spelled

The best stuff to clean the inside of your windscreen is that green paper towelling you get on your local garage forecourt....just rub the inside of the windscreen with a few handfuls of dry paper next time you fill up...no need for detegent or water....you wont believe the stuff that comes off

Totally agree :y

Or you could try neat screen wash soaked into a rag (screenwash normally contains meths).

Been using T-Cut glass cleaner recently and have been impressed so far. If only it could get rid of all the chips.
