Two words -----  snake oil......

If its what I think it is, this or its forefathers have been around since WW2.  Possibly originally used to boost the very low octane rating of wartime fuels.  Previously marketed under a name similar to 'magnapower'.

Drop in the tank or fit a gubbins in the fuel line and it instantly boosts the octane rating by a gazzion percent?

Better buying BP Ultimate of the Shell equivelant, imho.

you might as well stick an aspirin in the tank for all the good they will do.

If you realy want to use an additive chuck a can of Forte Fuel treatment through it with half a tank of fuel.....

The thought of putting a solid tablet into a fuel tank and hoping it dissolves fully so it doesn't get stuck in the fuel pump/filter concerns me slightly...
