Title: Loose HID Bulb
Post by: johndm1957 on 19 January 2007, 18:57:49
If I wiggle the HID power lead, the beam moves around....do I need to strip light unit out or can I get my fingers in there to remove or check the bulb is seated correctly? (I will pull the fuse before I stick my pinkys in).. ;D

cheers

So does the bulb actually point to the side of the car, and just release by turning anticlockwise?

Sorry John no use here either - but nice planes btw - I have a soft spot for the Flying Fortress, used to have one attached to the ceiling with cotton and a drawing pin.  ;)

Well I can't get my fingers in there to push/twist it in with the ballast thingy in the way. Guess the airbox needs to come off to get to the torx screws holding the black plastic cover, seat lamp, then re-attach cover??

Glad you like the aircraft pix....theres 1000 of them on there if you get bored.... ;D
