I have a '98 CDX 2.5 Estate. I believe it has the self leveling suspension, but it looks a touch high at the back - carpark comparison sugests an inch or two (I have seen an Omega that looked like it was about a foot too high at the back). I think this explains why my headlights seem to point at the floor, despite being adjusted to the highest level (they are Xenons). Does anyone know what the ride height should be, and what might be casuing the problem.

Welcome to the site.
Xenons on a 98 CDX? If you have headlight height adjustment, you haven't got Xenons...
There are sensors on the suspension, I suspect one of those may need cleaning or has come loose...

There is a single sensor with integrated controlled on he drivers side rear trailing arm near the diff that controls the ride height.
Check the linage on it is free to move and move the actuator arm whilst the ignition is on to check its functioning correctly (it should adjust the height)

I had the problem of my Elite continually raising the rear into the air. Whilst I solved the problem I used to pull the air hose off the compressor. A large hiss followed by the arse of the car hitting the floor (so be careful if not to be under there!!!) - Temporary bodge fix.
