Title: V.Bad Starting
Post by: RobC_NE on 26 January 2007, 01:29:54
hey all. just recently (probly due to the cold) its been very difficult to start my megga. takes loads of turning over, then repeating over and over (usually with a couple of loud pops (like a backfire but coming from the front.) but once its started i can stop it and it will restart no problems even after running it for a min then all day no prob (until its stood over night again)....

any ideas?
Rob

Try....cranking it for a few seconds on full throttle....then stop and start as normal.....if it now works fine then you have a leaky injector which is weaping fuel into the inlet during long periods of non-running...
