As per my thread in chat, I've bought a project that I need to get through an MOT.
Before I sent it off to the test station, I want to check it all over to make sure there's nothing obvious it's not going to fail on.
I'll read Mark's guide on MOT info,
Just wondering if anyone wanted to throw any suggestions at me for things to check?
I know most of them, but all ideas welcome, especially if something I might miss....

Two things that are often missed
1) Rear springs broken
2) Indicator bulbs not yellow (whiteish tint)
Then its the usual, check handbrake, brakes, jack each corner up and check for play in bearings/bushes/track rod ends etc....

Thats a good one.....for failing.....one of my cars failed the mot for that......then as the mot guy was checking the first aid kit/fire extenguisher in the boot he then noticed a blown number plate light bulb (doh!) ....as he closed the tailgate.....so dont forget to check those as well!
