Aye, but taking the P*ss is another ;D ;D

Hmm. No reserve though so it will be interesting to see what others think they're worth.
-
I must admit i was tempted..
to email him and advise he is unrealistic :-/

Agreed :y
-
without a reserve, the buy it now price will disappear after the first bid
edit: i've bid on it now, buy it now has gone, he'll regret lack of reserve i think!
if i won it for a quid it would be worth the petrol money to go collect it!!
-
What was the buy it now price?
-
£500
-
Whats the betting he'll either bid it up himself with a duplicate account, or get a mate to do so for him ....:(

Or pull the auction.
-
wouldn't be a surprise, he might even end the listing early due to an "error"
-
This bloke must have no idea of going prices,
can´t understand some people, seats seem to be ok, but he can´t seriously think that he could possibly get
that amount for them :o
-
i seen a full leather in my local scrappy. the guy said he wanted £100 quid. and thats a scottish scrappy too.
-
£500
You can get a fairly decent omega for that ;D
-
I didn't see a buy it now price, just bid start price of 99p.
-
they are not worth much more than the postage price £70
-
I didn't see a buy it now price, just bid start price of 99p.
the buy it now price disappears when a bid is placed if an auction has no reserve, as in this case, i placed a bid :y

Nope, not a chance..

I think these will go for about £250
These are not facelift leathers also the rear seats side parts are not smooth like a facelift and the doorcards are prefacelift Does have solid head rests so i am guessing front seat airbags. but the wiring will be different if the new owner wants to put them in a facelift

the sports leather commands a much higher price than standard leather....

Absolutely... personally I'd rather have sports cloth (which my MV6 has) than non-sports leather, which is more suited to your living room than a car. Sports leather is very nice, but rare -- which drives the price up. Standard Elite sofa-style leather is ten a penny, you can barely give the stuff away.
The best interior to salvage from is an Elite that has had the sports leather option, as that way you get leather door cards too. Just swap the horrid plastic "wood" trims for the MV6 ones.

Only downside of that is on a hot day cruising through town with an arm out of window, is that leather is somewhat warm!

Agreed, I've seen a few of these on eBay and normally they go for anything between £200-250, don't know why they have less feature's than elite leather ie; memory etc

They're much nicer shaped seats though, I think the standard Elite seats are really poor in terms of the shape of them, there are almost no side bolsters at all. Someone I know who owns an Elite, and when he had a shot of mine the first thing he commented on is that mine has much nicer seats (even though they're cloth).
I couldn't care less for memory, once the seat is set it's set. In the several years I've owned my BMW the only feature of the memory seats/mirrors is the auto-dipping function on the passenger mirror when you select reverse, and the Omega doesn't have that anyway.
There's obviously enough demand for sports leather that the price is being forced up.

True, I have any 3.0 V6 Elite and a Mv6 both with leather and I must admit the MV6 does feel more sporty when you sit in it :y
