During the past few days I've noticed that there's a loud squealing noise coming from the engine bay when I turn the engine off. I wouldn't have noticed unless they stayed on for a few minutes after parking up.
I took the grille off last night, and it's the drivers side fan on the front of the air con radiator. I thought it might have been that air intake rubbing on it, but moving it back doesn't seem to make any difference.
Will this just be a bearing or something in the fan? Is it easy to remove and take apart etc?

Most likely to be a bronze bearing bush that has dried out, these can be cleaned and soaked in oil overnight (the bronze is porous and soaks up some oil)
I havnt had to dismantle and Omega fan yet but it is usually a case of removing the fan blades without breaking or distorting them then working out how to get into the motor (some have screws, some use plastic latches)
Might be easier to find a replacement from a breakers and play with the old one at leisure.

Are the two fans separate? Is it easy to change them or does the bumper have to come off etc?
