Title: cruise control fitting a doddle!
Post by: wozzle71 on 03 February 2007, 13:49:26
after reading about cruise control on the forum i decided to give it a go! i rang vauxhall gave them all the car details and waited for a phone call from them. The part arrived the day after so i paid my money(40.77) and had the part fitted in 2 minutes, i now have fully operational cruise and would just like to thank everyone for their advice! :y
Next on the agenda is a chip which apparently boosts the 2.5 td bmw engine from 125 bhp(approx) to 140 plus any thoughts on this? :-?

wozzle, defo PM omegatoy.

His Omega diesel is chipped and having driven it can say its got a damn site more than 140  ;)

As long as its a Manual or post 98 Auto you should be fine  :y  (early diesels had a weaker gearbox the ar25 which could not handle the torque)
