Ok.....this was my 2.2 on lpg.....but was still suprised at what the mid thought the av mpg was....
Steady 70mph for 25 miles on motorway......34.5mpg
Steady 80mph for 25 miles on private track ::)...30mpg
Steady 50mph through restricted roadworks for only 3 miles tho.....40mpg...so not really a good average.....but is believable
Was quite suprised i was getting nearly an extra 5mpg for doing 10mph slower on the 70/80mph comparision :o

I used to get that in a V6 on a run

Not really that surprising as the drag increases exponentially as speed increases. This means that the car becomes disproportionately inefficient with the increase in speed.

I should say tho......on petrol i would expect 3/4/5 mpg better :y Its always a bit less on lpg :y

You should try a max MPG in 5th gear at a speed of i think its around the 58mph mark to get the best MPG.
All i do know is that i get around 10% less MPG on lpg to petrol at about 70 mph and loads worse at speeds higher, LPG systems seem to drink it faster at really high speeds.
