Hi
I think my washer pump is broken, I mean it pumps OK but when its not been used for a few minutes it take about 5 seconds to get any fluid up. I've checked and renewed the washer pump filter, its like a one-way valve has broken...?
Can someone confirm the part number?
Is this part on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-WASHER-JET-PUMP-TWIN-OUTLET-ASTRA-CORSA-OMEGA_W0QQitemZ150070931721QQihZ005QQcategoryZ10404QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem) the correct one?
Many thanks!

That one on ebay is only for the Estates, as it can go both ways to pump to the rear window.
Have you checked all the tubing to make sure it isn't leaking from somewhere?

Hi
Yep, had a good look at all of it, pipework is fine.... no leaks at all. Thought it was a build up of scale in the heated washers so even changed them (pig to fit!!)
Is there a one-way valve in the pump itself?
Sorry, did not read estates only, what a dumb a$$... :y

Yes there is a one way valve to stop system draining back. If it's anything like the one on my estate, it can carefully be dismantled and cleaned.

Thanks for that, I'm sure that's what's happening and the pump seems week (like the far drivers side jet does not get as much as the others)
Are new ones expensive? Just want to plug and prey if possible :y

Just fit a new valve somewhere in the pipework.
Also, check the gauze below pump is clean - see Maintenence Guides...

Hi mate
Gauze is clean, bottle has been washed out. I would do that but I have the problem with low pressure as well which is a pain in the a**
Do you know how much to get one?
