Title: Need advice removing rear headrest mounts
Post by: Paul M on 24 February 2007, 12:59:50
How do you remove these things? I've tried turning them, pressing in various parts, then resorted to brute force which has resulted in me destroying one! I've removed everything else from the shelf no problem (there's always one thing that's really stubborn!)

The Piece that goes into the shelf clicks in, what you should have is a springy peice either side which you push in, you need to get behind the front fascia pieceof the insert I usually use 2 small flat bladed screwdivers to do this.

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers mate, easy when you know how ;D

Got the remaining 5 out in about a minute, whole shelf is out now too. My next post in the wanted forum is going to be for a replacement headrest mount for the one I destroyed ::)
