Hi there
Can anyone tell me where the small breather pipe gose to from the front left of cam cover (ecotec 2.0 16v). there are three pipes in all one big pipe at back right with flametrap that gose to the sump, one large pipe at front left that gose to the ICV, but there is another smaller one just next to it that gose where? this pipe is blocked and I want to undo it. :-?
Any help please.

Normaly goes to a connection just below the throttle body.....

The jet into the inlet manifold is usually clogged, need to remove throttle body possibly manifold

Thanks for that, Shall have a look next time I do the ICV :y

On later engines the small breather goes to the throttle body. On early engines it goes to the bottom of the inlet manifold. I think yours will be the early type.
In either case check that the spigot on the camcover isnt blocked, clean it out with a twist drill held in your fingers. The connection to the inlet manifold is difficult to reach, if it is blocked then you might have to undo it to drill it out...it is water heated and the gunk tends to set solid.

Thanks for that Matchless, Yes it dos go to the throttle body about half way down with a water connection around it, tried to poke a wire in there but as you said it was solid so I left alone as I didn't know what was supposed to be there. will this matter or should I clean out a.s.a.p. Put a new cam cover gasket on tonight and came across this blocked pipe.
Thanks again
