there is a minor blemish in the centre of the boot right on the "corner edge", there since purchase, as are all the dints on my car, i drive carefully :y so quite pleased the spoiler covered it cos it was the most unsightly one of them all, although still a very minor one

Had a few dings on the DTI, it was down to others opening their doors onto the car.
I now park up using 2 bays in the tesco car parks and I dont use high rise car parks.

Vx quoted me 140.00 for a lip spoiler for the Facelift, plus spraying.

Did they offer to have it sprayed or would you need to get it done by a bodyshop?

They were going to charge me 60.00 to fit and spray.

Thank you for that information, kind Sir.....oh and nice to see you back! :y
-
I have bonded it on using silicone adhesive it takes a while to go off ::) but it wont be coming off in a hurry :y The grille needs a bit off attention :-/ its got paint lifting off it so needs redoing really but even in the condition its in it looks 100% better than the basic one . They cost me £80 for the pair posted to me as they are the correct colour they did not need to be sprayed . I popped in a local body shop to try to get the tape to stick the spoiler on before I decided to bond it on and while I was there enquired about getting the bonnet and grille resprayed they reckon about £175 +vat does that sound about right anyone any ideas on prices for this please
-
the stoke massive know about the massive improvement to my boot :D
i was quoted £100 for a spray-and-fit, knocked them down to £85, then never went back, did it myself for a tenner
spoiler cost £80, they're cheaper now if you look around, but not easy to find, hence the reason i paid that much!

What was the finish like, did you do it from spray cans, I have seen a silver one for sale but would need to have it sprayed pearlescent black.

the back of the spoiler turned out better than the top strangely enough, ran out of lacquer :-[ gonna mask it off at some point and re-do the top
yes it was done from cans
