;D
as previously posted,my climate control works fine on the drivers side, but pumps out freezing cold air to the passenger side on cc and econ mods >:(
is there a hot/cold distribution flap/motor in there somewhere ?
just been reading my haynes comic and couldnt see one mentioned,
or could it be the temp sensor on the passenger side given up the ghost and giving a false reading ?
sorry to repeat my self, but fancied a few more ideas before ripping out half my dash, ive just replaced all the bulbs in the ecc control panel, hand my knuckles havnt recovered yet.

You tried resetting the servo's?
Hold off and auto buttons down together for 5 secs or so. Should hear the servo's click and whir, getting it all back into sync with each other.

yup. every time before i start the car :-[

Was it working OK before you stripped it out to change the bulbs? Kinda obvious, but if working before then its summat you have disturbed so would have to strip to examine/repair again anyway.... :-/
Don't know whats all in there, but sounds like a vacuum pipe perhaps popped off.....
-
nope. was not working before the bulb change, half the reason i did that was to see if board was dead or alive.
thats what im trying to get my head round, in the days before i could afford cars with air con. :'( the blower temp was controled by a flap diverting more or less "fresh" air than air coming from the heater box.
is there something in there doing the same job,or is it all done by some all seeing air con evaperator trickery
comercial refrigeration is so much easyer ;D

well i had a good poke around in the passenger side, couldnt find any pipes hanging off,not that i could see a great deal.....
-
Seem to recall there being a small servo motor......will check TIS if I get chance later....
