Can anyone tell me where I will find the plate with the paint code on a 1997 Omega Estate.

Scrape the paint off just above the driver's door handle.  It's laser etched in the metal.  ;) ;D

Not on B post?  If not, it will be on VIN plate under bonnet...

97....should be on both plates on the bonnet slam panel, one UK code and one German code
