Not true. The Catera (97-01) covers both pre and facelift. According to GM Parts Cheap the fenders are the same for all model years.

In UK, the bumpers did change around 2000, but the wings remained the same...

Ive been doing a bit of digging and i have found that the wings are in fact different, i rang a couple of VX dealers this morning... waste of time!! they didnt know, but they did tell me that all the wings part numbers have been superseeded, they only go on one part no. now,a few years ago there went on  seperate part numbers.(chassis no)

Ive also looked at some pictures in total vauxhall mag and it shows early omegas 1994-1998 have no gap between the bottom of the wing and the plastic sill cover, later omegas 1999-2003 have a gap which then i assume also that the sill covers are different aswell.

My omega is a 94 model (no gap)my friends is a 02 model (with a gap) sorry no pics!
I hope you can understand what i mean!!

Thanks

Lee
