Title: Guess who gets his MRI scan on Sunday?

They have brought me forward following my recent turn for the worse. I hope everything is ok! :-?

Thansk all. I have had a few MRI scans over the last 7 years. I have a yellow pages sized folder with hospital appoinments! I know the news on Sunday won't be good, but at least it will show the extent of the problem.

As for the noise of the scanner, well I am 90% deaf in one ear already so I only really need one ear plug. The only problem I have is that I am genuinely chlostrophobic so I have to be doped up to the eyeballs to go into the scanner. For those that don't know, the scanning ring is about 8ft in diametr on the outside and about 2 1/2ft diameter inside. It is about 6ft long as well, so with the table that slides through, your nose is only a few inches from the top.

I don't mind as this is quiet urgent now, hence why they are geting me in on Sunday. Following this I am expecting major surgery within the next couple of months which will put me out of commision for around 6 months to a year. Anyway, one step at a time.
