Title: Gearbox Swap Advice
Post by: ClarCE on 26 March 2007, 09:40:18
Morning!

Now I have my V6 project car, seen here (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1174646743) theres work to be done.

I have an autobox that needs to go on the car, and ideally I want to do this job myself rather than take it to a garage.

Can anyone give me guidance on roughly what I need to do, and what parts (besides some transmission fluid) that I will need...

Sorry its such a big question, but I'm desperate to restore it to a nice driving state..

Cheers in advance,

Chris.

I would love too, but I'll probably get shot for spending *yet* another weekend on *that bloody car*...

Thought I'd give her this weekend to shut her up   ;)

ATF shampoo... no!

More likely I get a facial treatment instead!  >:(

James, we're doing it Sunday Morning (weather permitting).

Bugger, I'm down to be working now :(

If, by the luck of god I can get away, then I'll trundle on up to join you and lend some muscle :)
