Got the autobox upgraded yesterday from V.1 to V.10; seems to be better transition from 2nd to 3rd change up, feels more like the 1st to 2nd which was always good and also slightly smoother into top, wouldn't say there was that WOW factor to be honest, probably had a good box from the start; shame it didn't get rid of that first pull away thrashing up to 3,000rpm in the morning, anyone managed to get rid of that somehow?
Cheers Pete

On mine, the 3k only happens in the first 100yrds or so on very cold days if I drive straight off. If left idling long enough for me to attach phone and put seatbelt on, its fine. ECU = GS8.20 running V9

Know what you mean, I tend to start up, roll up a fag and then that's enough time for it to settle!

Now I have a car that can have this; I'm very interested.
I've found the "lock-up" at 50 a little annoying, will it improve this?

You will find the 50mpg 'surge' is hugely, hugely improved.
