Title: Petrol
Post by: Burti on 08 April 2007, 20:38:49
Hi All,

I wonder if any of you good people could help.

I have an Omega 2.5 V6 CDX Model, and it seems to be using a lot of petrol it does about 70 miles to £20, There are no leaks and I have not had it modified. Would anyone know how I could improve this or would you know why its using so much?

I had an 2.5 Omega 2 years ago and it did a lot more than that.

Thanks in Advance

...Burti

are these Town miles or long runs?

Clean the breathers and give it regular oil changes, 70 miles from £20 is little low...

Is that you saying that or the fuel computer?
I can get 25+ round town and 35ish on the motorway in my 2.5 ;)

I get 28-30mpg in town but mine's a manual.  Not much difference on a long run (up to 37mpg)
