Title: Corroded pipe
Post by: Markjay on 09 April 2007, 22:35:38
I believe that the badly corroded pipe in the picture bellow is for the aircon, can someone confirm...?  :(

It's at the bottom just in front of the radiator.

Think it is.  If its not leaking, then a quick rub back and lick of paint should get it shiney again....

Donnow... it looks like it will start leaking if I touch it... I think I need to get a new one... the regas... will wait for the summer (when the re-gas prices double!)

If it just runs over one side and doubles back it could be a power steering fluid cooler.

OK... so that's serious then... don't mind loosing the aircon for a while but the PAS is another matter! Will do as suggested, thanks.
